We will trace back the Sicilian roots of the brand eating typical delicacies coming from the wonderful island. After breakfast you will marvel at the boutique’s masterpieces with a personalized visit where, at the end, you will receive a customized gift to remember this unique experience that cannot be found anywhere else. We will then meet a professional personal shopper to enjoy a half day shopping experience in Milan’s fashion district. In the afternoon we will have some free time to shop on ourselves.
After breakfast in hotel, a private car will take us to enjoy a new extraordinary insider access. Milan is known worldwide for its Fashion sense and the Milanesi are perhaps amongst the coolest people in the entire country. While in Milan, we won’t miss the opportunity to visit a Fashion Atelier whose philosophy embodies perfectly the soul of the city. In the fashion district of Milan is nestled an historic Atelier behind whose curtains expert artisans and creative designers have been bringing to life timeless masterpieces. Surrounded by historic sewing machines and pedals on one side, and avant-garde fabrics that lit up in the dark on the other – we will truly witness the marriage between the glorious ancient traditions and the present times. After a guided visit of the atelier, we will meet with our Jewish expert guide that will lead us in an afternoon discovery of Jewish Milan. We will visit the Central Synagogue of Milan, built in 1892, rebuilt in 1947 and renovated again in 1997, it is the main place of worship of the Jewish community of Milan. Since 1993 it has taken the name of Central Temple Hechal David u-Mordechai. We will finally discover the Binario 21 (Track 21) at the Central Station from where during WWII the Jews of the city and the surrounding areas were deported to concentration camps.
After breakfast in the hotel our fancy day begins with a guided visit of Palazzo Morando, an aristocratic mansion now hosting Costume Moda Immagine, a sort of museum of fashion, where 18th-century fine fabrics, garments and accessories are on display. We will then take a taxi (not included) to continue to the sanctuary of Giorgio Armani’s creations, the Armani Silos (tickets included). This spectacular building houses a unique selection of the fashion designer’s creations from 1980 until today: dresses, sketches, technical drawings and detailed descriptions of the clothes, pictures of the celebrities who have worn Armani’s garments and the themes that have inspired Giorgio throughout his life. Free time in the afternoon to enjoy some final shopping before departure.
