1° day

Sunday

Arrival at Palermo airport, meeting with the driver and transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel after 3 pm.
7.30 pm Welcome dinner at the Palazzo Lanza Tomasi, followed by a private visit of the palace. The Duke and Duchess will take you on a fascinating tour through the beautifully restored rooms of the palace, where you will have the privilege of admiring the original manuscript of Prince Tomasi di Lampedusa's immortal masterpiece, The Leopard.

2° day

Monday

Full board with kosher meals.
Dancing morning: from 10 to 11.30 nineteenth-century dance lesson at the Sala dei Ventagli of Palazzo Lanza Tomasi
In the afternoon walking tour of Palermo to admire the beauties of the city. Palermo is the capital of Sicily. The 12th century Cathedral of Palermo houses royal tombs, while the imposing neoclassical Teatro Massimo is famous for its opera performances. Also in the center are the Palazzo dei Normanni, a royal palace dating back to the 9th century, and the Palatine Chapel, with Byzantine mosaics. Busy markets include the central street market Ballarò and the Vucciria, near the harbor. In the evening, return to the hotel and overnight.

3° day

Tuesday

Meeting with the guide and half-day city tour. It starts with the Chiesa della Magione. The Basilica of the Holy Trinity of the Chancellor, commonly known as the basilica La Magione, is one of the oldest churches in the city of Palermo, located near the Kalsa district, in front of the homonymous square. The walk continues through the old Jewish quarter of La Meschita. In the evening, return to the hotel and overnight.

4° day

Wednesday

Afternoon: surprise experience signed by Danza il Tuo Viaggio. Details will be communicated to you prior to your arrival in Palermo.

5° day

Thursday

In the afternoon, meeting with the guide and beginning of the half-day visit of the duarat. Visit to the site of the Oratory of Santa Maria del Sabato, which the archbishop of Palermo gave on loan for use as a future synagogue. Visit to the Zisa castle with Hebrew inscriptions and symbols. The Cathedral of Monreale, a splendid 12th century basilica. With amazing frescoes depicting scenes from the Old Testament. In the evening, return to the hotel and overnight.

6° day

Friday

Cooking class with the Duchess!
"A Day Cooking with the Duchess" is not just a Sicilian cooking lesson in a place out of the ordinary. It is a unique culinary and cultural experience of its kind, an exciting journey through the food tradition and history of Sicily in the last home of Prince Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, author of the famous novel The Leopard.
The Duchess of Palma will take you early in the morning to the picturesque Capo market where you will choose the freshest seasonal ingredients, and she will let you discover some of the hidden beauties of Palermo, one of the most seductive cities in the Mediterranean. At the market you will be transported into a glittering world of Mediterranean sounds, scents and colors, walking among the stalls overflowing with fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, the famous Sicilian citrus fruits, spices, bread covered with sesame seeds, freshly baked by the wood oven.
Back at the palace, a stop on the lush terrace, a real hanging garden full of Mediterranean and subtropical essences. There you will collect the herbs, flowers and citrus fruits best suited to enhance the flavors of the Sicilian dishes that you will prepare in the welcoming kitchen of the building, under the expert guidance of the Duchess.
The menu you create will be served in the elegant dining room overlooking the sea.
Rest of the day available for preparations for Shabbat.

Saturday

Full board with kosher meals in the hotel. Shabbat day.

8° day

Sunday

Breakfast at the hotel, check out and meeting with the driver, transfer to the airport.
